Last day to apply for initial two-week August 2021 wage subsidy

Applications for the initial two-week August 2021 wage subsidy scheme will close at 11.59pm tonight. This deadline will be important for any businesses that have held off applying for the Wage Subsidy August 2021 to assess the revenue test period and consider their workforce needs.

The Government has approved a further wage subsidy scheme, and applications for the Wage Subsidy August 2021 #2 will open from 9.00am on Friday, 3 September 2021. This second wage subsidy will cover the period from 31 August 2021 to 13 September 2021, and will be available to employers and self-employed individuals who meet the eligibility criteria.
