Performance management is a set of processes and systems aimed at developing an employee, to enable that employee to perform their job to the best of their ability and in line with the employer’s expectations.
Where an employee is struggling in their role, a performance improvement plan is an effective strategy that helps employees to identify weak areas and to provide the training and support they need to improve their performance.
